Capablue Develops Karaoke Superstar App for Smart TVs

Users will have access to thousands of Karaoke tracks from their favourite artists for a Karaoke Party in their home!

Capablue (www.capablue.com), the UK’s leading Video-on-Demand (VoD) and Connected TV solutions provider, has developed an interactive Karaoke App on Smart TVs for DigiTop Ltd. Karaoke Superstar will give consumers instant access to an extensive playlist of tracks from favourite classic artists to the latest chart hits.

Users will be able to select tracks from a playlist of over 2,000 high quality karaoke videos provided by The Mr Entertainer Karaoke Collection, a registered trademark of Digitop Ltd, market leaders in various aspects of the karaoke industry. The app will be kept up to date by adding new tracks each week, including the latest released chart hits.

PayPal’s payment functionality has been integrated with the Capablue Connected platform, enabling users to purchase music for a limited time or as a full download with unlimited access. Karaoke Superstar will be the first Samsung Smart TV App in the UK to be combined with PayPal payment.

Soon to be released following the Connected TV application launch will be an accompanying smartphone “companion app”. The Karaoke Superstar smartphone app will enable the user to sing into their phone and hear their voice played back through the TV mixed with the backing track. Users will also be able to record their performances in the companion app and upload them for sharing with other Karaoke Superstar fans.
