Precision Devices Inc. Becomes First Crystal Device Manufacturer to Obtain MIL-PRF-38534 Certification

MIDDLETON, Wisconsin, April 14, 2011 - Precision Devices Incorporated (PDI) (www.pdixtal.com), a leading
quartz crystal device manufacturer and member of the Avrio Technology Group,
LLC (www.avriotechnology.com) team of companies, announced that it has
achieved Class H certification, the standard military quality level for
reliability designated by MIL-PRF-38534. The Defense Supply Center, Columbus
(DSCC) awarded the certification following an extensive audit of testing
flows performed by PDI on crystal frequency control devices.

The inspections proved that PDI is a crystal device manufacturer whose
products and processes can withstand the severe environmental stresses of
operating in space over long periods of time, including enduring the
temperature range of -55 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius.

"PDI is the first crystal device manufacturer to receive this prestigious
certification," said Bob Swelgin, CEO of Avrio Technology Group, LLC. It
verifies PDI's commitment to producing premier, highly reliable crystal
devices for the most complex operations and demanding environments."

Class H compliance enables PDI to design and manufacture crystals,
crystal filters, and oscillators for defense and space programs. The
certification also makes PDI the first crystal device manufacturer
(www.pdixtal.com) to be included on DSCC's Qualified Manufacturers
List (QML) to produce products for the space industry.

PDI has operations on three continents and services a variety of markets,
including consumer electronics, NAV/COM, RF/microwave, instrumentation,
military, and space. The company's primary crystal device manufacturing and
distribution facility in Middleton, Wisconsin produces quartz crystals,
crystal filters, OCXO, TCXO, and VCXO crystal applications.

"We look forward to partnering with companies in the space industry who
require superior crystal device products and processes," said Chris Harden,
vice president of PDI. "PDI's rigid quality management standards ensure that
we will continue to produce the highest quality commercial-grade products on
the market."
