DigitalRoute on Ahrens Rapid Growth Ranking 2011
By Digitalroute, PRNEWednesday, May 18, 2011
STOCKHOLM, May 19, 2011 - DigitalRoute, an independent software vendor, is positioned on Ahrens
rapid growth ranking list for the second consecutive year.
Ahrens' ranking list highlights rapid growth companies that contribute to
the vitality of the Swedish business community. In order to qualify,
companies must demonstrate a minimum growth of 25% over 6 years, a
substantial turnover and profitability. The companies must also have their
base of the operations located in Sweden and they must be independent from
individual customers or groups.
The potential growth capacity of the companies is not considered in the
evaluation of the candidate companies. The list is based on historical
information from 2004-2010 and the selection criteria are designed to
eliminate subjective assessments.
It is the second consecutive year that DigitalRoute is ranked on the
list. The achievement is accentuated by the fact that only 41 companies
across the whole of Sweden fulfilled the strict qualification requirements in
2011 compared to 68 in 2010 and 90 companies in 2009.
In 2010, the number of communication service providers using
MediationZone(R) from DigitalRoute increased by 50. This generated an annual
revenue growth of more than 30% as well as a substantial increase in
profitability. In total, there are today more than 220 MediationZone
customers around the world.
The compound annual growth rate of the DigitalRoute revenue since 2002
exceeds 50%. Based on the combination of technology leadership and
partnerships with leading product vendors and system integrators,
DigitalRoute forecasts a continued strong business momentum over the next
years.
Mobile operators are facing the challenge of handling rapidly increasing
data volumes while maintaining profitability. MediationZone from DigitalRoute
plays an important role in reducing the service providers' cost for data
integration. DigitalRoute has also found new areas of usage for their
technology within customers' operations; enabling further growth.
"DigitalRoute made a flying start in 2011 and have already signed several
deals with leading operators in North America, Europe and Asia. We also see a
strong opportunity to grow in other industries as handling of large data
volume is not unique for the telecoms industry", said Jan Karlsson, CEO at
DigitalRoute.
