Eagle Names Marc Firenze as Chief Technology Officer

BOSTON, April 7, 2010 - Eagle Investment Systems LLC, a leading provider of financial services
technology and a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, today announced Marc Firenze has
been appointed chief technology officer. A 20-year veteran in financial
services technology, Firenze is responsible for setting the strategy,
technology development, architecture and growth around Eagle's investment
management product suite.
Near-term objectives for Firenze include enhancing the Eagle platform to
reduce the total cost of ownership for clients, employing new technologies to
augment existing delivery options, and leveraging the outsourcing
capabilities of BNY Mellon. Today, Eagle clients have access to the full
continuum of delivery options from software installation, to application
hosting (ASP) and to outsourcing.

Firenze began his career with Eagle in 1997 and has been directly
involved in the build-out of its products, including new feature design,
analysis and quality assurance. He has played a significant role in every
major release of Eagle software and was responsible for launching the
enterprise technology platform that underlies the product suite. Firenze also
played a key role in the initial development and delivery of Eagle's data
management solution and its alternative investment accounting solution.
