LONDON -
- International Property Investor, Raven Russia, Locks Down Data in UK Outsource Programme While Giving Highly Mobile Executive Team Instant Access from Anywhere in the World Through Specialist IT Management Services -
London stock market-listed, $multi-billion property investors, Raven Russia, has signed a GBP1 million outsourced IT management services contract with IT managed services and IT infrastructure provider Fifosys www.fifosys.com/.
Raven Russia needed an IT managed services and IT infrastructure provider(www.fifosys.com/itstrategy.php) to manage its business activity securely with an IT infrastructure which spread across multiple countries, servicing its large property portfolio in Russia and the CIS, with a highly mobile executive workforce operating out of its head office in Guernsey. As a result it needed an IT management services( www.fifosys.com/) and IT infrastructure provider to carefully manage its risk and provide an IT infrastructure which minimised its vulnerability by centralising all of its data in the UK, while still providing secure, high speed and immediate access to all of its senior executives and management.
Mark Sinclair, Chief Financial Officer of Raven Russia comments, “With all of our developments in Eastern Europe we were clear from the outset that we would keep our data within the UK. Fifosys understood our requirements immediately and were very quick to come up with an effective IT solution to suit our business needs whilst meeting all the various risk mitigations that we require. As a result Fifosys designed our highly secure networks to be accessible from anywhere in the world but so that they can be instantly locked down if circumstances dictate.”
London-based IT infrastructure provider and outsourced IT managed services(www.fifosys.com/continuoussupport.php) provider Fifosys, has been engaged by Raven Russia to provide a full service IT management services outsourcing agreement that includes IT managed services for all application & communications management and all IT infrastructure services for Raven Russia’s 100 staff which are spread across its facilities in Guernsey, London, Cyprus, Moscow and other CIS countries in which Raven Russia operates. Sinclair comments, “Communication just works seamlessly across all of our four major geographical locations, making cross border transactions easier and much more efficient.”
Raven Russia Limited is a Guernsey registered property investment company specialising in commercial real estate in Russia with its shares listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in the UK. Established in July 2005, it is focused on investing principally in warehouse property in Russia, later extending its investment remit to include Ukraine and Belarus.
Raven Russian chose to work with IT management services and IT Infrastructure provider Fifosys having previously tested its services within the Raven Group and will have access to a team of more than 20 specialist IT staff from Fifosys to manage all of its IT services. Raven Russia opted for Fifosys’ highest level of support which is driven by Fifosys ‘director-level’ technology services. This enables Raven Russia to engage expert IT management services for IT budgeting and planning, managed IT procurement and regular board level review of IT services, in addition to all other IT-related functionality including managing all third party suppliers and everyone involved in the IT department. tr.im/D5g5
Sinclair continues, “Fifosys has provided piece of mind. We can rest easy knowing that we’ve got comprehensive IT functions that are being properly monitored by people who know what they’re doing. Our IT systems are now a given component of Raven Russia rather than something we have to spend a lot of time on To get an individual in-house with the same skills and expertise that we have access to through Fifosys would be near on impossible and extremely expensive.”
IT infrastructure provider, Fifosys, is providing Raven Russia with a fully supported outsourced application and IT managed services, business management, budgeting and planning which includes all of its IT, networking, server management, security, business applications and telephony, VOIP, support and maintenance. tr.im/D5fZ
Sinclair concludes, “We have trusted Fifosys for some time to run our IT as an extension of our business. We do what we’re good at - property investment - and they do what they’re good at - IT. The contract that we now have in place effectively places them as our IT director. In this way we can plan and manage our IT for competitive advantage knowing we always have clear, expert advice on hand.”
