Endeavour Announces Completion of 1-for-7 Share Consolidation

HOUSTON, November 18, 2010 - Endeavour International Corporation (NYSE Amex: END) (LSE: ENDV) today
announces that it has completed its previously disclosed share consolidation.
Post-consolidated shares of the company's common stock will commence trading
tomorrow November 18, 2010 on both the NYSE Amex and the London Stock
Exchange.

As a result of the share consolidation, every seven shares of common
stock outstanding have been automatically combined into one share of common
stock. Holders who would otherwise receive fractional shares have had their
shares rounded up to the next whole share. Registered shareholders of
Endeavour who hold existing physical stock certificates will receive a letter
of transmittal from the company's transfer agents - StockTrans in the United
States and Capita Registrar in the United Kingdom. Shareholders whose
certificates are held in "street name" or are on deposit with their brokerage
firm need to take no further action.
