In his new role, Stephen will report to Dr S. Nasim, Meinhardt Global
CEO, and will work closely with the Group's country and regional heads,
helping to identify and pursue critical market opportunities. Stephen has
consulted on a wide range of projects, including airports, coastal and
offshore marine engineering, power, oil and gas, cross-country oil and gas
pipelines, industrial, real estate development and urban infrastructure.

Stephen started his career in 1975 at the Jurong Town Corporation of
Singapore, where he eventually became senior infrastructure engineer. From
1982 to 1987, he was with Promet Berhad, a listed company in Malaysia, where
he led the EPCM/BOT turnkey contracting division as Managing Director. From
1987 to 1991, he was at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore where he
became Divisional Chief, Planning, Engineering, Operations & Maintenance. In
1992, he joined Promet Engineering, a sub-division of Promet Berhad, as
Managing Director for overseas operations, focused especially on Pakistan's
oil and gas pipelines and oil unloading jetties and tank farms, and chemical,
pharmaceutical and refinery plant construction on Jurong Island. In 1997, he
was transferred to IPCO International, a listed company in Singapore and a
subsidiary of Promet, as Vice President, Business Development, Asia Pacific,
identifying and formulating infrastructure BOT projects. In 1999, he joined
Meinhardt India, where he worked on the World Bank-funded National Highway
Authority project for 500-lane kilometre NH-2 in North India. From 2003
until recently, Stephen was Senior General Manager, Projects (International)
at Keppel Land International Limited, where he managed the planning,
development and construction execution of Keppel Land's properties in nine
countries and 32 cities across Asia and the Middle East.

"Stephen's multi-sector experience ranging from property to ports and
harbours, oil and gas, water treatment to power stations matches our
strategic goals perfectly. These are all sectors which we are growing
aggressively," Dr. Nasim said. "His knowledge, experience and strategic
thinking will help Meinhardt reinforce its lead as a multidisciplinary and
truly integrated engineering consultancy serving clients globally."

A United Kingdom Chartered Civil Engineer and a practicing civil and
structural engineer in Singapore and Malaysia, Stephen is also a specialist
geotechnical engineer in Singapore. He holds senior memberships in such
engineering institutions as the ASCE, ICE, IES, IEM, ISEE, T&DI and GeoSS.
Stephen said he plans to focus his efforts on the Middle East, Asia and
China, where local collaboration and joint ventures for infrastructural work
abound. "These are fast-moving markets where the infrastructure capacity is
expected to grow with local demand. Meinhardt's local offices in all these
markets have been nimble in responding to such growth. I am proud to be
associated with a dynamic company like Meinhardt," he said.
