Excentree To Plant a Tree for Each Garment Sold Online While Customers Plant Flowers
By Excentree, PRNESunday, February 28, 2010
WEST MIDLANDS, England, March 1, 2010 - The eco-fashion online store Excentree (www.excentree.com)
announced today it's offering "inspirational clothing" designed to help
people reduce their Carbon Footprint.
For each garment purchased, one tree will be planted in 1 of 17 worldwide
plantations, said CEO James McAloon.
Excentree customers can use a voucher embedded in garment hang tags to
order a tree planted and use seeds embedded to plant a flower. "Offering
consumers a new, positive, hassle-free way to give back to the environment
without extra cost is what Excentree stands for," said McAloon.
He describes his company as hip, eco-friendly and dedicated to "one
garment, one tree, one future for mankind." "That's what Excentree is all
about — giving back."
McAloon, co-founder of Excentree Fashion Collections, partnered with his
wife Mary McAloon, to establish their eco-friendly, fashionable online store.
In 2007, the whole concept of Excentree was established after the couple
traveled from Dubai to South Korea "to take positive action to enhance the
consumer market. Fashion was to be our outlet and the process began," said
McAloon.
Excentree's mission is keeping both "customers and the planet looking
unique and beautiful." The garments are made out of 100% top quality organic
cotton making them lighter, softer and more breathable to the consumer. The
interesting thing about Excentree is that they produce a limited amount of
garments and each design is created differently, with lots of care and
dedication. Each graphic tee shirt design has a meaning behind it, making it
100% you.
"Our entire range of motif t-shirts have a story to tell. We have two
styles, Asian Calligraphy Art by Yuli and British modern culture by myself.
Each Korean Calligraphy print has a special meaning and is a piece of poetry.
Each modern culture design is expressive of our current world dynamic," said
McAloon.
Excentree tailors garments to each customer's personality, style and ages
ranging from 12 to 65, said McAloon. Excentree offers high quality garments
at reasonable prices.
"Going green is not a fashion statement. For us, it's a way of life."
Excentree will soon introduce its polo line for women, men and children
in its spring/summer collection.
