Five Young Singers From Wigan Win National Talent Competition
Three shows, 10,000 spectators, over 100 acts and 24,000 public votes result in five very happy young girls from the North West!

Fifth Sense, a young vocal harmony group from Wigan, have fought off stiff competition from across the country to walk away with the top prize in this years national talent show Britain’s Got Personality.
The competition, organised by Best Western - hotels with personality, was open to all ages with any talent and aimed to find and showcase the best of British talent. From breakdancers to an Elvis tribute and a Mr Bean impersonator to a twelve year old Irish dancer the competition certainly showcased that there is a high amount of varied talent amongst Britain today.
The three regional heats in Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham culminated in an online public vote with the top 5 acts voted for by the British public going through to the grand final. Today, the hotel group have announced just who has won the competition to claim the contract with a talent agency.
The finalists, in order of finishing place are;

Fifth Sense, who performed at The Trafford Centre, Manchester on 6th August to a crowd of over 3000, even gathered celebrity support in their plight for the top spot with Carley Stenson and Legally Blonde co-stars Lee Mead and Denise Van Outen all voting for them to win.
The girls, Maddie Coleman, 14, of Orrell, Charlotte Wheatcroft, 14, Charlotte Wilson, 17, of Wigan, and Warrington residents Hannah Pitt, 15, and Emma Humphries, 17 have been singing together for a couple of years and now their dream of becoming the next girl group to make it in the charts is that one step closer to reality!
