LONDON, February 10, 2011 - Frost & Sullivan has presented Telepo with the 2011 Global Frost &
Sullivan Award for Enabling Technology in the Unified Communication and
Collaboration market. Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to a
company that has developed a pioneering technology that not only enhances
current products but also enables the development of newer products and
applications. The award recognizes the high market acceptance potential of
the recipient's technology.

Telepo's software-based platform, the Business Communication Solution
(BCS) enables service providers to offer branded business communication as a
Service via the cloud. It wins the award for leveraging market demand for
communications and enabling new revenue streams for its partners through a
cloud platform that offers short time-to-market launch.
Telepo has a proven track record of service to some of the largest and
most demanding customers, including TeliaSonera. Each service provider
deploys BCS in a different way, adjusting it to its own customer-base needs
and focusing on different aspects of the functionality from least-cost call
routing to enabling fully mobile working practices.
Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Dorota Oviedo said: "Both small and
medium businesses and large enterprises are becoming more interested in the
concept of communications delivered as a service. Offerings such as that from
Telepo, present service providers with a great market opportunity as they can
help them to leverage demand for OPEX-based services."
"The rich functionality and modularity of BCS allows service providers to
serve a variety of users - from traditional users, requiring only a desk
phone, to the most advanced users demanding a fully unified communication
experience consistent across all device types including mobiles, PCs, Macs
and desk phones," noted Oviedo.
"It is worth emphasizing that a single installation supports
multi-country, multi-branding, multi-service provider and multi language
services," said Oviedo. "This can be crucial for return on investment as well
as being able to scale down into the small business segment. Even though
small to medium businesses tend to use fewer features than larger
enterprises, the required set is not homogenous across this segment. Thus,
being able to offer a complete package makes the service more attractive."
Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety
of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and
superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation,
customer service, and strategic product development. Industry analysts
compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth
interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify
best practices in the industry.
