Partnership opens up access to the arts through the launch of 'Late Shift' and explores a shared expertise in forensic analysis

LONDON, May 13, 2010 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm
dedicated to helping organisations protect and enhance their enterprise
value, today announced that it has partnered with the National Portrait
Gallery in London, home of the UK's portraiture collection of great leaders,
innovators and thinkers both past and present.

The partnership will see the launch of a new evening programme, 'Late
Shift', which will help in broadening access to the arts in London,
particularly for those unable to visit the gallery during daytime opening
hours, by supporting a rich programme of activity when the gallery stays open
late on Thursday and Friday evenings. It also brings together a shared
passion and expertise in forensics where source, technology, expertise and
intuition play a key role in uncovering the truth for both the National
Portrait Gallery and FTI Consulting.

Improved and enhanced evening programme

Supported by FTI Consulting, the National Portrait Gallery's 'Late Shift'
will enable the public to visit the Gallery after work hours to take in art,
culture, food and drink in a sociable setting. The programme will offer
talks, music, special events and access to the Gallery's collection and
exhibitions in a unique environment. FTI Consulting will also host a series
of thought leading events throughout the year offering the opportunity to
meet leaders of today and explore parallels with great historical leaders and
innovators and how that is reflected through portraiture.

With more than 425 employees in the United Kingdom and approximately
3,500 around the globe, FTI Consulting works daily with business leaders to
provide critical advice for their most critical business issues.

Jack Dunn, FTI's President and Chief Executive Officer, said:

"FTI Consulting's partnership with the National Portrait Gallery runs far
deeper than providing support for the exciting new Late Shift initiative. As
we grow our European business, we are delighted to be partnering with an
institution that celebrates the leaders and innovators that have shaped
British and European history and culture.

"In the arts world, as well as in the areas of evidence-based consulting
in which we operate, a detailed and expert analysis of chains of evidence is
critical in uncovering authenticity. Our consultants are leaders in their
field, and I hope that many of them will be able to share that expertise with
the team at the National Portrait Gallery, the foremost centre for the study
of portraiture."

Sandy Nairne, Director of the National Portrait Gallery, London, said:

"The Late Shift is a great way to experience the National Portrait
Gallery - as intriguing, active and informative. There is much overlap
between the creative skills deployed by ourselves at the Gallery and the
experts at FTI on a daily basis. We are very pleased to extend our work in
partnership with FTI Consulting, helping more Londoners discover fascinating
histories and inspiring people on their doorsteps."
