MCLEAN, Virginia -
Global Strategies Group was recently awarded several new task orders as part of its Reconstruction Security Support Services (RSSS) contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Through new task orders, worth a combined US$21M, GLOBAL will augment their existing support of security operations and air operations as well as intelligence and engineering activities undertaken for USACE’s reconstruction efforts in the Afghanistan Engineering Districts (AED), North and South.
Using the National Operations Center (NOC) in Kabul as a model, GLOBAL will create a second NOC in Kandahar to serve as a centralized point within AED South for intelligence collection and analysis as well as information dissemination and asset tracking. The RSSS program originally won by GLOBAL in 2008 showcases the company’s ability to combine a broad range of intelligence and operational support services along with state-of-the-art defense technologies to help clients achieve their toughest goals in high-stakes situations.
