Strategic Partnership Forms Leading New Thought/Self-Help Publisher's Entry into Self-Publishing

CARLSBAD, California, May 14, 2010 - Hay House Publishing (www.hayhouse.com/), a leading provider in
publishing products that are self-empowering, announced Friday it is
partnering with the world's leading self-publishing
(www.authorsolutions.com/authorservices.aspx) company, Author
Solutions, Inc. (www.authorsolutions.com/), to launch Balboa Press
(www.balboapress.com/)-a self-help self-publishing division. The
alliance will allow authors to benefit from the leadership of Hay House,
while taking advantage of Author Solutions' technology and services that make
publishing easy, affordable, and available to anyone.

"We receive thousands of manuscripts annually, but we can publish only
100 products a year," said Reid Tracy, CEO of Hay House. "Our self-publishing
division, Balboa Press, has been formed to allow many more people get their
message out. While these books won't be published by Hay House, Balboa Press
will be monitored for success, and hopefully we'll find the Hay House authors
of the future," Tracy added. "This is the legacy of Louise Hay-25 years
later-she wants to help the next generation find their voice."

Through this strategic partnership, Author Solutions will manage Balboa
Press on behalf of Hay House, taking responsibility for selling and
delivering a comprehensive array of publishing, marketing, and book-selling
services, designed specifically for Balboa Press authors.

Kevin Weiss (www.authorsolutions.com/about.aspx?id=174), Author
Solutions president and chief executive officer, is pleased that Hay House is
joining ASI in this alliance to expand opportunities for authors and choices
for readers.

"Starting with its visionary founder, Louise Hay, Hay House has a rich
track record of innovation and leadership in the self-help and new thought
publishing space. We are pleased to be able to help them expand positive
publishing opportunities to more and more authors who want to share their
messages of hope and self improvement," said Weiss.

Author Solutions, the parent company of industry-leading self-publishing
brands AuthorHouse, iUniverse, Trafford Publishing, and Xlibris, brought to
market more than 20,000 new titles in 2009. Since 1997, ASI imprints have
