Hollywood Producer Boards $20m Dickens Feature

LOS ANGELES, October 1, 2010 - Hollywood film producer and founder of WriteMovies.com Alex Ross (The
List, 2007- Warner Bros.) is delighted to announce that Howard Rosenman has
joined the feature project THE CHIMES which he will be co-producing with Mr
Ross. The US$20m movie focuses on the cataclysmic love affair in the life of
Christmas Carol author Charles Dickens:

When Dickens falls in love with ethereal, mysterious Isabella he is drawn
into her dark, dangerous world and risks everything to be with her: his
career, his family, his sanity and even his life.

The movie is to shoot in London and Genoa with principal photography
anticipated to start Summer 2011.

Mr Rosenman, currently producing BETSY AND THE EMPEROR starring Al Pacino
and Dakota Fanning has an eminent track record with such films as the Steve
Martin starrer FATHER OF THE BRIDE and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Mr Ross
said: "The Chimes is a mesmerising script about a writer whose stories are
loved all over the world and I am very excited Howard Rosenman is working
alongside us to bring this almost devastating aspect of Dickens life to the
big screen. We're currently out to directors and hope to announce on this
within the coming weeks."

Domestic and International distribution and sales will be handled by
Patrick Ewald CEO of Epic Pictures, Beverly Hills.

Rome based producer Marco Pugini and his production company, Panorama
Films will be handling all aspects of production in Italy.

Casting Agent Gillian Hawser will cast the film from London.

THE CHIMES was written by British screenwriter Callie Lane. Ms Lane is
also adapting THE CHIMES as a stage musical and this is expected to debut in
London during Fall 2011.
