IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Active RFID Technology Selected by DP World for Street Truck Tagging Program at Three Australian Ports

LUSTENAU, Austria - IDENTEC SOLUTIONS announced today that its industry-leading active RFID technology has been selected by DP World, one of the world’s largest container terminal operators, for truck identification and access control at all their Australian container terminals.

IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, in conjunction with RAMP, a local, Sydney-based system integrator, will deploy the active RFID-based solution including long-range tags, readers and integration software. The first deployment has already been completed at the Port Botany terminal, located in Sydney. The system will be rolled out to DP World’s Brisbane and Freemantle sites over the next six months.

Prior to the award, IDENTEC SOLUTIONS undertook a rigorous proof-of-concept test that was evaluated by DP World’s Australian operations teams.
