Kwik Fit Insurance Staff to hit 1000 Mark With Recruitment Open day

GLASGOW, Scotland - Kwik Fit Insurance has launched a major recruitment drive that will take the headcount at its Uddingston headquarters to more than 1000 by the turn of the year.
The UK insurance intermediary has announced plans to recruit a further 84 posts between now and January 2010 and is inviting local jobseekers to their recruitment open day on 31st October.
The new recruits will fill a variety of roles at its call centre, including outbound sales, internet sales and policy renewals.
Brendan Devine, group managing director of Kwik Fit Financial Services, said: “We’re looking at a number of opportunities for us to grow our business and we need to ensure we recruit good people who will help us to achieve this.

Lanark and Hamilton East MP Jim Hood, whose constituency includes Uddingston, welcomed the news about the recruitment drive.
He said: “I am delighted at the good news that 84 new jobs are being created at Kwik Fit Insurance in Uddingston. This is welcome news for the local economy and my constituents.”

The open day will run from 11.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday, 31st October at the Kwik Fit Insurance offices in Tannochside Business Park, Uddingston. During the day, prospective recruits will be given a tour of the centre and a discussion about the roles available as well as the competitive salaries and benefits on offer. All positions available are full time, permanent roles as Kwik Fit Insurance continue to strengthen its position as a major employer in Lanarkshire.
