Launch of Roadmap for Financial Services to Benefit Customers and Staff

LONDON - New research will be launched in the House of Commons on Tuesday 31st
March which sets out the necessity for radical reform for the financial
services industry.
The report by the Financial Exclusion Centre has been commissioned by
Unite the union. John McFall MP, Chairman of the Treasury Select Committee
will be speaking at the launch.

The report entitled ‘Reforming the Financial System’ was commissioned by
Unite the union in order to explore how the finance world need to be reformed
so that it meets the needs of society and prevent another similar crisis from
occurring.
The report considers: international regulatory reform, regulatory
accountability, a new approach to regulation, governance of financial
institutions and the role of long term investors.
