Milestone Chinese Commodities Fair to be Kicked Off in Sharjah; Unique City Pavillion is set for 10th anniversary

New products will be revealed by celebrity companies
The Chinese Commodities Fair Sharjah (CCFS), featured exhibition of Middle East Chinese commodities and China’s first exhibition all over GCC, will be held from December 5 to 8, 2011.
This year’s exhibition marks the 10th anniversary since 2002, when the Chinese Ministry of Commerce started to hold the commodities exhibition in Sharjah.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, Chinese Vice Commerce Minister, H.E. Mr Jiang Yaoping will cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony. Looking forward to the memorial exhibition, the minister highly evaluated the contribution of the last nine exhibitions on bilateral economic relations, stating that the journey to Sharjah would be a great success.
A “Chinese Cities Expo” concept has emerged for the year of 10. The idea is to invite Chinese cities to show their unique characteristics and culture, as well as business opportunities. As a country with more than 30 provinces, China’s local governments really compete with each other economically. They like to show their abilities to fulfill their Middle East partners.
Chinese city Wuhan, center of Hubei Province, is now under the spotlight. The city will bring the most successful companies and business institutions. The huge delegation is trying to give a full view of the Wuhan’s industries.
Celebrity companies, which have long lasting reputations in China, will also show their enthusiasm and capability on satisfying Middle East needs. Known as a ‘World Factory’, the Chinese manufacturing industry always has vitality and competitiveness, which will be reflected in the exhibition. For instance, King Long Motor Group Co. is one of the best producers of different kinds of passenger coaches, and will showcase their newest design in Sharjah this year.
The Fair is set to put new elements in the traditional exhibition. More concentrated functional zones will be marked. Such zones a made up of food, electronic appliance, vehicle parts and exhibition zone for forklift and wheel loaders. These functional zones will provide a brand new design and leading concept, specifically for this region and respective industries.
Over the past nine years, the Sharjah exhibition has witnessed the participation of 4,000 Chinese enterprises, bringing US$3.31billion in trade through the exhibition platform. 67 countries joined the exhibition, continually contributing their resources and passion.
