LONDON, June 17, 2010 - Former Sony MD, Nick Twyman, has been appointed head of executive
coaching at the Centre for High Performance Development (CHPD). Nick takes on
the role from 14 June 2010 and will be leading the growth of the executive
coaching practice at the leadership development consultancy.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick said: "Building CHPD's global
executive coaching practice is a really exciting opportunity. The combination
of CHPD's research, assessment and development offerings alongside coaching
makes for a really compelling service for clients."
Jim Tapper, chief executive at CHPD, explains the importance of the
practice lead role: "Coaching is one of three core areas of expertise for
CHPD - the others being leadership and diversity and inclusion. Although we
are already undertaking numerous executive coaching assignments for our
clients, having a head of coaching enables us to increase our focus and drive
the development growth in this area."
Nick has spent the last 10 years successfully coaching senior leaders and
their teams and prior to that he held managing director positions for
Tektronix and Sony Corporation. A natural team player, Nick has a proven
track record of growth and profitability as a business leader and is an
accomplished people manager. He has successfully worked with senior leaders
and teams at many large international organisations to help them reach their
full potential.
