MARLOW, England, December 1 - NetDespatch has supplied New Zealand Post with an innovative web-based
system that automates and simplifies forms for international shipments.
Called RedClick, the new service is revolutionising the production of complex
documentation for New Zealand Post customers, saving them hours of paperwork
each day.

The easy to use web shipping facility automatically produces Customs
Declaration forms for international shipping, eliminating manual form
filling.

Using simple web forms, with built-in intelligence to ensure that
information is entered correctly, the automated production of the Customs
Declaration forms streamlines the whole process. The forms can be printed to
either laser or thermal printers. For higher volumes a manual or automated
bulk import process is used, with either local or remote printing.

"The big thing was to make lodgement much simpler for customers who send
packets and parcels out of New Zealand by providing them with easy online
forms and a system that would guide them through the process and actually do
much of the form filling. This saves them time and boosts mail room
productivity, allowing staff to get on with other important tasks," says
Kelvin Watson, General Manager Logistics, New Zealand Post.

Becky Clark, CEO of NetDespatch comments: "This initial project has been
a great success for both New Zealand Post and NetDespatch. Our organisation
has benefited from the close co-operation between design, development and
testing teams in New Zealand, and New Zealand Post has found that it has been
surprisingly easy to implement further planned service improvements, as well
as benefit from our ongoing developments."

"Companies exporting all types of goods will use this new service,"
continues Clark. "In particular it will meet the growing demands of the
SME market driven by the explosive growth of Internet trading. Domestic
retailers with web sites are becoming exporters as they receive orders from
the around the world. This in turn creates a new opportunity for postal
providers, with businesses endeavouring to find cost efficient worldwide
shipping."

NetDespatch is an innovator in web software and provides an
industry-leading 'Software as a Service' platform to parcel carriers and
postal organisations. Called Velocity, this platform includes real time
systems integration, web shipping forms, enterprise label printing as well as
mobile scanning and proof of delivery applications.
