WORCESTER, England, November 11, 2010 - npower has announced that it is making a hundred pairs of tickets to
Football league matches available in support of the Tickets for Troops

teams from Bournemouth to Yeovil will host men and women from the armed
forces who will enjoy the match free of charge through the ticket scheme.
Tickets for Troops looks to match up donated tickets with recipients from the
Forces in recognition of their fine work and commitment.
Tickets for Troops (www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk/) is an
independent charity that was set up last year to provide top tickets to
musical, cultural and sporting events. It has been given over 200,000 tickets
by organisations wanting to show their support of the Armed Forces. Since its
launch, over 70,000 have registered for the scheme at
www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk.
Sue Heritage, npower Sponsorship PR Manager commented: "We are delighted
to be donating these tickets to such a good cause, as Tickets for Troops does
such valuable work in providing access to events for our servicemen and
women. As football fans across the country enjoy the action on the pitch this
weekend, it's a perfect time to show our support around Remembrance Day to
say thank you to all those dedicated to serving their country. We hope
everyone enjoys the games."
Tickets for Troops Chairman, Lord Marland said: "Tickets for Troops has
benefited from a great wave of generosity from our ticket donors who have
wanted to demonstrate their support and show their appreciation for the
dedication and commitment of the marvellous men and women of our Armed
Forces.
"I would like to thank npower for recognising the difference Tickets for
Troops is making and for their fantastic support which enables troops from
all corners of the country to support their local team."
