HORSTEL, Germany -

- New tourist attraction in Seoul - Banpo Bridge equipped with 380 jets and LED floodlights - 60 tons of water cascade into the Han River per minute

OASE Living Water, the leading worldwide premium supplier for water gardens, fountain technology and lake management, has converted the 1.4 kilometre Banpo vehicle bridge in Seoul, South Korea, into the world’s longest waterfall bridge. 380 jets, installed on the sides of the bridge, produce an arc of water enveloping the entire bridge, shooting 60 tons of water into the Han River per minute.

A waterfall of more than 60 metres

Ansgar Paul, CEO of OASE says: “In this project, no limits were imposed on the imagination of our designers and engineers.” The overall effect is spectacular, creating the impression of a waterfall cascading down 60 metres on either side of the bridge. After dark the fountains are immersed in a complex play of colours, created by numerous floodlights. Seoul has eclipsed the famous water feature in New York, which drew much attention last year. Every day the new tourist attraction is admired by thousands of onlookers.

OASE has conducted numerous major projects over the last ten years, including the fountain system for the Olympic Games in the Olympic Park in Beijing and the water features for Mardan Palace in Antalya, the biggest luxury hotel in the Mediterranean.
