Oracle Excellence Awards to be Presented at Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne and Oracle Develop Conference

Oracle (www.oracle.com/) will honor customers and partners who have excelled at driving business value and innovation with Oracle technology with an Oracle Excellence Award (www.oracle.com/us/corporate/oracle-global-excellence-awards-080097.html) at this year’s Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne and Oracle Develop conference (www.oracle.com/us/openworld/index.htm) , held from September 19-23 in San Francisco.

Oracle Excellence Awards Details

The Oracle Excellence Awards covers categories ranging from the latest innovations in Java technology to enabling the eco-enterprise.
The awards will be presented in the following categories:
Duke's Choice Awards (www.oracle.com/dm/10q4cif/em050238/em050238_duke_choice_awards_welcome_new.html) – the Duke’s Choice Awards are presented to individuals or groups for their innovative use of Java technology. The winning entries are on display in the Mason Street ten (between Ellis and O'Farrell streets).
Enabling the Eco-Enterprise (www.oracle.com/green/awards.html) – the green awards will be presented to customers and their partners who are using Oracle's products to not only reduce their environmental footprint, but also to reduce their costs and improve their business efficiencies by using green business practices. The 15 award-winners will be honored by Oracle’s Jeff Henley and Mark Sunday on Wednesday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m. in Moscone West, Room 3006.
Oracle Fusion Middleware Innovation Awards (www.oracle.com/us/products/middleware/innovation-awards-077827.html) – honor customers for their cutting-edge solutions using Oracle Applications with any of the following Oracle Fusion Middleware products: Oracle Application Grid; Oracle SOA Suite; Oracle Identity Management Suite; Oracle Business Intelligence & Enterprise Performance Management; Enterprise 2.0; Data Integration & Availability. These awards will be presented Tuesday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the San Francisco Marriott.
Oracle Magazine Editors’ Choice (www.oracle.com/oramag/awards/2010/websiteintro2010.htm) Awards– these awards recognize individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the Oracle community through their leadership, technical innovation, sharing of knowledge, and other achievements.  Winners will be featured in the November/December 2010 issue of Oracle Magazine (www.oracle.com/technetwork/oramag/index.html) and the winners of the prestigious CIO of the Year awards will be honored during the Sunday evening keynote on September 19 in Moscone North, Hall D.
Oracle North America Partners - Titan Awards (www.oracle.com/partners/secure/marketing/titan2010-069533.html) – the seventh annual Titan Awards recognize North American partners who help deliver outstanding solutions for Oracle technology. 22 category winners will be announced on Sunday, September 19 at Moscone Center.
Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Awards (www.oracle.com/partners/en/opn-program/opn-awards-070429.html) – these awards recognize global partner excellence in a number of categories, including technology, applications, industry, and midsize. In addition, the award features a separate track specifically recognizing Oracle’s Value Added Distributor performance from around the world. The awards will be presented on Sunday, September 19 at Moscone Center.
