Press Association Appoints Chief Technology Officer

LONDON, August 9, 2010 - Andrew Dowsett joins the Press Association today as Chief Technology
Officer. Andrew takes responsibility for IT across PA Group, and will lead
all activities from software development and internal IT to external service
delivery. He is the first CTO to be appointed to the Press Association's
senior executive team and will be based in the company's London office,
reporting to Group Chief Executive, Clive Marshall.

Andrew's remit will span the breadth of the Press Association, the UK's
national news agency and a leading supplier of multimedia content on a global
scale. With services supplying text, images and video content across digital,
print and broadcast platforms, PA Group has corporate and consumer customers
in over 90 countries around the world.

Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience, and worked most recently
as Operations and Technology Director for Bauer Consumer Media Limited. Prior
to this he held senior roles at a number of high profile companies including
EMAP, EMI and Virgin Media Group.
