Since its inception in 1999, the CHTF has exerted significant influence
in domestic and international technology and industry communities over the
past decade. Famed as the "No.1 Technology Show in China," it has become an
attractive "city card" of Shenzhen.

Aiming to build up a top-ranking fair brand in line with the philosophy
of sustainable innovation, CHTF 2009 has a theme of "Innovation,
Entrepreneurship and Development," and is divided into six sections,
Commercialization of Technological Innovation, Specialized Shows, Forums,
super-SUPER Special Events, Hi-tech Human and Intellectual Resource
Exchanges, and the Year-Round Fair. With a total exhibition area of over
100,000 square meters, it boasts strong features of environment-friendliness,
regional cooperation and internationalization.

With 26 exhibition groups from 17 countries such as the U.S., Russia,
Germany, South Korea, Hungary, Belgium and Finland, the number of
participating countries and the scale of CHTF 2009 have reached record highs.
Also, such multinationals as Dell and Panasonic, as well as ministers from
Finland, Israel and Hungary, and a host of overseas officials, experts and
leaders of famed international corporations were invited to attend the fair.
