LONDON, April 11, 2011 - Sky has announced today the release of a new, smaller high-gloss SkyHD
box to its range. The SkyHD box when taken with Sky's HD Pack will allow Sky
Multiroom customers to enjoy HD TV (
www.sky.com/shop/high-definition/home/) channels in more than one room
of the house without the need to purchase an additional Sky+HD box'. The
addition of the affordable HD Box completes the line up of HD boxes that
include the 1TB Sky+HD box.

The new box also includes the HD Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) which
allows viewers to browse TV listings while watching their current programme
on the mini screen and set reminders for upcoming programmes. The box gives
customers access to the same channels as their principal TV subscription,
with a range of over 50 HD channels available depending on TV Package. This
includes Sky1 HD, Sky Living HD, Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Sports HD , dedicated
HD genre movie channels and everyday favourites like BBC One HD and ITV1 HD.

Customers can now enjoy Sky's HD service throughout their home at a more
affordable price as their first SkyHD box is free when taking their first
Multiroom subscription; any additional box thereafter taken with a new
Multiroom subscription will be priced at GBP49.

Hilary Perchard, Sky's Director of Product Management, said: "We want to
offer customers as much choice as possible, both in terms of content and
innovation. Therefore, as the appetite for HD viewing grows we want to make
this service available to customers throughout the house so they are always
able to watch great content in high definition."
