SulAmerica Strengthens Equity Team Through Long-Term Strategies and Activism

SAO PAULO, February 11, 2011 - SulAmerica Investimentos, the business unit of SulAmerica group
specializing in asset management, has created a new division dedicated to
long-term equity fund strategies, enhancing its portfolio with new investment
opportunities to its clients. SulAmerica Investimentos equity team will now
count on two senior portfolio managers and a nine analysts team.

This new division will be in charge to build long term portfolios
targeting substantial alpha returns, combining investments in high-growth
companies with the team's activist profile in Corporate Governance issues.

"Brazil's new economic environment with stability and drop in interest
rates have turned investors' focus towards products which seek differentiated
returns and the creation of this new division is SulAmerica response to this
growing demand, mainly oriented to institutional investors and pension
funds," said Marcelo Mello, Vice President of SulAmerica Investimentos.
"Within this structure, we'll see funds focused on long-term returns and that
will have be activist in those companies in the portfolio."

Fernando Tendolini has just been hired by SulAmerica and will be the Head
of this new dedicated team. He joins the team after 10 years as Head of
Equity division and portfolio manager where he primarily headed up those
funds known for their commitment to promoting Corporate Governance practices
in invested companies.
