By Teachers Assurance, PRNETuesday, June 7, 2011
BOURNEMOUTH, England, June 8, 2011 -
Teachers Assurance is pleased to announce that it has once again been
awarded a top ten position for the returns on its Teachers Provident
With-Profits Fund*.
David Furniss, Chief Executive comments: "Teachers Provident's results
reflects the many changes we have made over the last few years to improve our
investment returns for our With-Profits members. We set out a rigorous agenda
five years ago to improve investment performance, control costs and deliver
returns back to our members in the form of policy benefits such as guaranteed
returns on their savings and investment plans." He added "Reaching the top
ten shows we are progressing ever closer to achieving our goal."
This is excellent news for the company and members alike as it means that
the hard work put in over recent years has not gone unnoticed.
Coming so soon after the announcement that Teachers Assurance will be
returning GBP4m in Special Bonuses to its members, this reaffirms its
commitment to running an organisation that exists for the sole purpose of
benefiting their members and customers.
