By The Tommy Hilfiger Group, PRNESunday, September 12, 2010
NEW YORK, September 13, 2010 - Tommy Hilfiger showed his Spring 2011 collection at The Theater in The
Tents at Lincoln Center last night to a packed house teeming with
celebrities, family and friends.

Collection notes described the inspiration as twisted country club and
the theme was reflected in the turnout in the front row, which had pop stars
such as Jennifer Lopez, Bradley Cooper and Lenny Kravitz mixed among a strong
showing of New York's social set.
Celebrating its twenty-five year heritage, the collection offered more
than a touch of prep with an added twist reflected by an audacious use of
color, mixed patterns and proportions.
Crowd favorites included pleated tennis skirts, a sequined navy blazer,
bandeau tops and back-baring georgette gowns. The menswear seemed destined
for the neo-preppy rocker who considers seersucker short suits and leopard
loafers a way of life.
Following the show, Tommy thanked his guests in epic style with a giant
bash at The Metropolitan Opera. Rows of blazer-clad young men lined the
entrance which featured a sky high, neon lit display of the designer's
initials. Just inside the opera house a large topiary flag recalled the green
hedge inspiration that dominated the show.
DJ Paul Sevigny got the crowd going, but it was the live performance by
THE STROKES that had every balcony of the iconic venue filled with guests
including Christina Hendricks, Neil Patrick Harris, Ed Westwick, Jessica
Szohr, Jeremy Piven, Rumer Willis, Rebecca Romijn, Jason Lewis, Olivia
Palermo and Amanda Hearst.
