As CEO of JAJAH, Trevor was the driving force in growing the
Silicon Valley start-up into a global multi-million dollar
communications company, which was acquired by Telefonica Europe.
Prior to JAJAH, Trevor held executive roles at PayPal Inc.,
VeriSign, CelNX and Trintech. A serial entrepreneur, he has a
proven track record of founding and growing great technology
companies, having completed three M&A transactions, a
successful IPO and a Secondary on NASDAQ.
The company Founder, Zohar Levkovitz, a recent winner of the
Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, will remain with
Amobee as Founder and Vice Chairman.
“We want to thank Zohar for his years of great contribution and
welcome Trevor. Trevor has a proven track record of building
great businesses like PayPal, Verisign and Sequoia funded companies
like JAJAH, where we backed him in the past,” said Haim Sadger,
partner at Sequoia Capital. “When Zohar and I discussed the growth
trajectory of Amobee, it was clear to us that we had to bolster the
team. Trevor was our obvious choice.”
“When I told my friends that I was thinking about joining
Amobee, they thought I was a crazy to leave the board of one of the
largest companies in the world,” said Trevor Healy. “But when I
told them the customer base and revenue growth -– they smiled. Over
the years I have come across some amazing companies with growth and
marquee customers, but Amobee is in a league of its own. This could
be my best move yet.”
“Over the past 12 months, Trevor has done an outstanding job
helping the company as a board member, and I look forward to
continuing the work that we have begun together. Trevor’s depth of
experience and proven leadership skills will allow us to accelerate
our growth and take Amobee to the next level of success,” said
Zohar Levkovitz, founder of Amobee.
Amobee also announced other recent appointments today to bring
in deep experience from the mobile and advertising industry. Mark
Strecker, formerly of RIM/Cellmania, MSX, Convade and Seagate, is
Amobee’s new COO. Steve Hoffman is Amobee’s Chief Financial
Officer. Steve held C-level positions at Assurz, CelNX, and was a
VP at First Data Corporation. Gabi Schindler, formerly of AT&T,
Apple and Palmsource joins Amobee as Chief Marketing Officer. Gil
Sheinfeld, previously with Amazon.com and Cisco, joins Amobee as VP
of Engineering.
