UK MoD Selects Raytheon BBN Technologies' Boomerang Shooter Detection System

Raytheon BBN Technologies will provide its Boomerang shooter detection systems to the U.K. Ministry of Defence. BBN is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN).

Through the contract with U.K. distributor Maxord Ballistics Limited, Raytheon BBN Technologies will deliver Boomerang perimeter defense and vehicle systems to alert troops to the location of incoming small arms fire. Boomerang immediately alerts troops to incoming hostile fire and pinpoints the location of the enemy shooter.
