LONDON, March 1, 2011 - AppSense, the leading provider of user virtualisation technology
(www.appsense.com/uservirtualization/), has welcomed two
new marketing members to its team: Stuart Noad, Director of Marketing, and
Helen Major, Channel Marketing Manager, to further drive and consolidate
AppSense's leadership position in the user virtualisation market.

Stuart Noad joins AppSense from HP Information Security, where he was
Marketing Director and member of the operational board. While at HP Noad
supported consistent growth in excess of four times the market rate and
successfully branded and launched HP Information Security, formerly Vistorm.
He also launched many successful initiatives including the Information
Security Leaders event series; the CISO Club, a closed networking group for
Chief Information Security Officers; and Inform Magazine, which now has a
distribution in excess of 18,000.

Stuart is joined by Helen Major, former EMEA Marketing Manager at Harte
Hanks Trillium Software. As a dedicated B2B marketer for the past 10 years,
Helen has successfully managed channel marketing strategies to improve
relationships with key resellers in her previous roles.

The recruitment of Stuart and Helen comes as a direct result of
AppSense's record growth in 2010; with 1.5million licences sold in the
calendar year, a 60 per cent increase in revenues and 43 per cent increase in
headcount.

Paul Higley, vice-president Northern Europe at AppSense, commented on the
double appointment saying: "The user virtualisation market is growing at a
phenomenal rate. As market leaders we want to ensure businesses understand
and can take advantage of the benefits of this technology. The appointment of
Stuart and Helen will help us do just that."

James McNab, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales Development, EMEA at
Citrix Systems, added: "We are always pleased to see strong development
within our partner base, reflecting the compelling value that our virtual
computing solutions provide to our joint customers. AppSense's user
virtualisation solutions have proven to be an excellent complement to our
Desktop and Application Virtualisation solutions. These appointments testify
not only to AppSense's ongoing success in the region, but also to the
increasing relevance of virtualisation to organisations across Europe. We
look forward to continuing our strong collaboration".
