Winston & Strawn Welcomes Prominent Trial Attorney Robert Ruyak to Its Global Litigation Team

Winston & Strawn LLP announced today that Robert F. Ruyak has joined its global litigation practice in Washington, D.C. as a partner. Ruyak is one of the nation’s most accomplished first-chair trial lawyers whose resume includes successful representations of high-profile corporate clients involved in complex commercial litigation and investigations. His diverse experience includes high-stakes antitrust, intellectual property, insurance recovery, international trade, government contract, product liability, and securities disputes covering a wide range of industries and technologies.

During his more than 35 years in private practice, in addition to his commercial litigation work, Ruyak has also represented individuals and corporations in civil and criminal investigations and in cases brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Agriculture, the Internal Revenue Service, and other federal and state agencies, as well as State Attorneys’ General offices. In addition, he has served as lead counsel for major arbitrations in the United States, Bermuda, and the United Kingdom.
