2009 India excellence in Healthcare Awards

Mumbai, September 4, 2009 – Frost & Sullivan, for the first time, hosted ‘2009 India excellence in Healthcare Awards’ on 4th September, 2009, at Intercontinental-The Lalit, Mumbai. The Event attended by the crème de la crème of the healthcare industry spotlighted world-class companies that have performed par excellence and demonstrated best practices. Recognizing the best in class, the event was held to honor the country’s premium players in the healthcare and research industry.
The ‘2009 India excellence in Healthcare Awards’ recognized 19 companies from the Medical Devices, Healthcare IT, Medical Imaging, Drug Discovery, Biotechnology and Clinical Diagnostics background. These companies have contributed and in the future would drive the growth of the industry through their market leadership, competitive strategies, and innovation.

A 10-person jury comprising prominent Healthcare Industry experts had come together to examine the dynamics/performance of an extensive range of organizations. Our expert team followed a meticulous measurement-based methodology to select companies in South Asia for each Award category. Post this, the short-listed companies were evaluated based on actual market performance indicators like Revenue growth, Market share in specific category and growth in market share, Breadth of services and solutions, Demonstrated leadership in new services and innovation, Major customer acquisitions, Geographical expansion and partnership, Business and marketing strategies.
