ARCADIS Supports Wide Range of Department of Homeland Security Initiatives

ARNHEM, The Netherlands, March 1, 2010 - ARCADIS (NYSE EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consultancy, design,
engineering and management services company, announced today that it has been
selected as a key member of the Program Management, Administrative, Clerical
and Technical Services (PACTS) program of the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security (DHS). The PACTS contract has a potential period of performance of
five years with a maximum value of $1.5 billion across all PACTS contract
awardees. Thirty-four vendors have been identified by the DHS as service
providers under this agreement.
The role of ARCADIS, as a large business engineering firm on a team led
by LRS Federal (a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business), will be to
provide a wide variety of engineering, planning and evaluation services in
support of DHS projects. The ARCADIS services outlined under the PACTS
subcontracting agreement involve engineering design and development,
preparation of feasibility studies, design and planning, technical services
to support construction and installation, and other aspects of supporting DHS
activities. ARCADIS will provide engineers, scientists, project managers,
regulatory specialists and other experts on awarded DHS projects.
