Astraware Launches ‘Mahjong of the Day’ App for iPad, iPhone & iPod touch; Updates Original Mahjong App

Both Games Support New Features in iOS 5, Including Twitter Integration and Asynchronous Turn-Based Gaming

Astraware® is proud to announce their latest app, Mahjong of the Day, is now available on the App Store for iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®. Mahjong of the Day compliments the company’s existing feature-rich Astraware Mahjong game, which includes 30+ puzzle layouts, an unlockable trophy tile set and a global daily puzzle challenge. Both games include brand new features found only in iOS 5, including Twitter integration and asynchronous turn-based gaming.

Mahjong Of The Day gives players four new downloadable mahjong puzzles every day. Once downloaded, players can complete the puzzles and submit their time to compare against other players on Astraware’s global leader board. Using the new iOS 5 Twitter integration players can brag about how quickly they solved the puzzle to their friends, or challenge a friend to best their time using the new asynchronous turn-based gaming feature.

The Mahjong Of The Day App is available for free from the App Store on iPad, iPhone or iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/. Through In-App Purchase, players can purchase options to remove ads, buy a pack of 50 extra puzzles, or unlock all of the features found in Astraware Mahjong.

Alongside the release of Mahjong Of The Day, Astraware Mahjong has been updated with a completely redrawn and enhanced main tile set, which is also included in the free game. Astraware Mahjong also includes a selection of new tile sets to play with, and these are also available by purchasing an unlock in Mahjong Of The Day.
