BWI Service Alliance Expands Their Watch4net APG Installation

Watch4net announced that the BWI Service Alliance, the strategic
partner of the German Federal Armed Forces for all issues relating
to non-military information and communications technology, has
selected APG as its performance monitoring solution for the
HERKULES project.

Watch4net’s APG has been installed at BWI since 2008 for
monitoring its Network Infrastructure. Based on APGs proven
reliability, flexibility and scalability, BWI has now taken the
decision to establish the Watch4net solution for Performance
Management within the HERKULES project. BWI will rely on APG’s
capabilities for the on-going expansion of the network.
Furthermore, APG will serve as the centralized monitoring solution
by providing a multi-tenant portal for BWI’s entire converged IP
network, delivering real time, historical, service related and
operational data (first and foremost concerning IPSLA- and
QoS-measurement) to all user groups.
