MUNICH, July 6, 2011 -

Watch4net’s APG has been installed at BWI since 2008 for
monitoring its Network Infrastructure. Based on APGs proven
reliability, flexibility and scalability, BWI has now taken the
decision to establish the Watch4net solution for Performance
Management within the HERKULES project. BWI will rely on APG’s
capabilities for the on-going expansion of the network.
Furthermore, APG will serve as the centralized monitoring solution
by providing a multi-tenant portal for BWI’s entire converged IP
network, delivering real time, historical, service related and
operational data (first and foremost concerning IPSLA- and
QoS-measurement) to all user groups.

“Watch4net APG’s proven return on investment, adaptability,
scalability and applicability to BWI’s architectural growth meant
that APG was the perfect solution to complement BWI’s steady long
term technology strategy,” says Manfred Kraus, Senior System
Architect at BWI Informationstechnik GmbH.

“BWI is an important customer in the Managed Services market and
APG provides them the strategic value to meet the future
requirements,” says Harald Mueller, VP Sales EMEA at Watch4net.
