China Hi-Tech Fair Showcases Next IT Tech

SHENZHEN, China, November 21, 2011 -

The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) 2011 kicked off in Shenzhen on November 16. The Organizing Committee of CHTF arranged 4 specialized shows, the IT pavilion, new energy pavilion, electronic pavilion and FPD pavilion. Having been staged successfully for 12 consecutive years, the CHTF IT pavilion is a UFI-certified event. It’s one of the largest IT import-export fairs in China and is generally accepted in the IT industry as a professional, authoritative, and mainstream event.

In this year’s session, with the theme “IT Connects the World”, the CHTF IT pavilion placed a greater emphasis on promoting next-generation internet technology, including cloud computing, tri-networks integration and the Internet of Things. The IT pavilion is arranged in Hall 1, with an area of 30,000 square meters.

More than 500 international enterprises from the USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Mainland China, will showcases the latest and hottest products and technologies in the CHTF IT pavilion. Transnational corporations including Dell, Brothers, Fox Conn, Lenovo, Pacific, Baidu, Jetway and ATEN are participating. There are also 3 groups of exhibitors including the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), Information Versatile Disk for Removable usage (IVDR) from Japan, and a Korean group of IT exhibitors.

CHTF is an indicator of Chinese IT products

With the rapid worldwide popularity of the iPhone and iPad, almost all manufacturers of mainstream IT consumables will release tablet PCs and smart phones at this year’s CHTF IT pavilion, including Lenovo with their LePhone smart phones and tablet PC, and the Latitude XT3 released by Dell, a kind of reversible tablet PC. In addition, there will also be some new products, such as software and hardware products from Hanvon Technology aimed at segment markets and with identification technology as core, and new LED portable projectors from Shenzhen ACTO.

The CHTF IT pavilion also attracts a large number of chip and storage device suppliers to exhibit next-generation storage technology. The Japanese IVDR Consortium, composed of 8 corporations including Canon Corporation, Fujitsu Corporation, Hitachi Co., Ltd., Phoenix Technologies Ltd., Pioneer Corporation, SANYO Electric CO., LTD., Sharp Corporation and Japanese Victor JVC Corporation, will bring products from AV devices to PCs to this CHTF, and nine Japanese enterprises will display their latest mobile storage products.
