Crowell & Moring Bolsters London Office With Corporate Partner Joel Wheeler

Crowell & Moring is pleased to announce the addition of Corporate Group partner Joel Wheeler to the firm’s expanding London office. Wheeler’s practice focuses on a broad range of both domestic and cross-border public and private mergers and acquisitions. His move comes on the heels of significant international expansion within the Corporate Group in recent years, including the addition of London-based partner Timothy Leeson and New York partner Joseph A. Adams. Wheeler joins the firm from Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

Wheeler’s practice involves the full range of transactional work on corporate and associated commercial matters, including insurance sector-related and general public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, debt and equity capital market offerings, corporate financing, and corporate restructurings. He has served clients on a large number of cross-border transactions, including most recently in the U.S., Germany, Spain, Denmark, Russia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
