- Deloitte member firms are first systems integrators to participate at top level in premier learning event
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte*) announced today that it will serve as Marquee sponsor at Oracle OpenWorld and that its member firms will be the first systems integrators to participate at this premier learning event for Oracle customers, developers, and partners. The Marquee sponsorship is Oracle’s top level of participation in the conference, which will be held in San Francisco from 2-6 October 2011.
As the Marquee sponsor, Deloitte will be instrumental in shaping the conference agenda by delivering the CEO keynote speech during the Oracle Leaders’ Circle program and by sponsoring 11 content tracks, a commitment that involves leading several sessions and/or co-presenting with Oracle on the topics of: cloud computing, consumer goods, customer relationship management, enterprise performance management, financial management, financial services, governance, risk and compliance, health care, Oracle E-Business Suite, security, and supply chain management. Deloitte’s designation as the Marquee sponsor also brings with it numerous online and on-site branding opportunities.
“Marquee is the highest level of sponsorship for Oracle OpenWorld and we are thrilled to work with the member firms of Deloitte, who are the first systems integrators to ever hold this honor,” observed Judith Sim, chief marketing officer, Oracle. ”When considering candidates for participating as a Marquee, we looked to Deloitte because of the strength of our relationship and the unique blend of industry and technology knowledge that its member firms bring to the table.”
Nidal Haddad, Global Oracle Alliance Leader, DTTL, added, “OpenWorld is one of the largest and most strategic technology conferences that we participate in, and this year we’re happy to give attendees the chance to get even more out of it through our Marquee sponsorship. By working with Oracle on a record 11 educational tracks, we’ll be able to share the knowledge that Deloitte member firms have gathered from countless client engagements to deliver more value, insights, and impact.”
With more than 1,500 sessions providing best practices, demos, tips and tricks, and product roadmaps from Oracle and industry experts, Oracle OpenWorld provides more educational and networking opportunities than any other conference dedicated to Oracle business and technology users and customers.
Deloitte member firms throughout the world provide access to over 10,000 professionals who collectively possess deep industry and functional knowledge across Oracle’s full line of applications and technology. Additionally, Deloitte member firms have capabilities in tax, finance, human resources, risk, and business consulting, as well as systems implementation-related consulting.
