Distance Learning With a Difference - Oxford College of Marketing Adds More Training Videos to Their Blackboard Virtual Learning System

OXFORD, England - Oxford College of Marketing has used a virtual learning environment to support all modes of study for many years. This means that students have been getting E Learning support on all their courses - part time evening, blended learning and distance learning courses. New videos from Oxford Learning Lab (www.oxlearn.com) have now been included and this means that for the first time, students from all over the world can listen to what top marketers have to say. Names like Chris Fill, Malcolm Mc Donald, Laurie Young, Tim Fidgeon, and coming soon - Beth Rogers and Will McInnes - all legends of learning in their own time can now be easily reached. Podcasts and webinars are also provided for all students.
As Rosie Phipps, Principal of Oxford College of Marketing says, “With diverse learners who learn in different ways, connecting with them is not just about where you reach them. It’s also about how you reach them. This is why we chose Blackboard Learn(TM), as it can help by providing a foundation for engaging and assessing our learners inside and beyond a classroom.”
She points out that, “Student” today can mean young to old, part time, full time and all points in between - geographically, demographically, you name it. They learn in different places and ways. The technology platform that we have been using for the last six years has helped us to reach and engage all these learners in all these places, to give us top results.
Putting learners at the centre so we can help them achieve their results and keep them learning is as important as ever. It’s also harder than ever. Why? You name it. Diverse learners. Economic uncertainty. Shortage of time. The inability to get to class. There are many reasons. But those who choose to study with a college (especially distance learners) like Oxford College of Marketing, who have invested heavily in technology over the years to support learning, can only benefit from interactive online tutorials that combine the convenience of online learning with the interactivity and engagement of traditional classroom learning.
Marketers and students who are not studying with Oxford College of Marketing can still go to Oxford Learning Lab (www.oxlearn.com ) and watch these videos to support their learning. They can also use it to support their CPD.
All levels are catered for Introductory Certificate in Marketing, Professional Certificate in Marketing, Professional Diploma in Marketing and the Chartered Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and coming soon: the CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications, Diploma in Digital marketing and the Diploma in Managing Digital Media.
