Domo Chemicals Finalizes Succesful Expansion Investments With Start-up of a new Ammonium Sulfate Storage Facility in Leuna (Germany)

Domo Caproleuna GmbH, subsidiary of DOMO Chemicals, celebrates in Leuna (Saxony-Anhalt, Germany) the successful start-up of a new Ammonium Sulfate storage facility (investment of 30 million euro) with a capacity of 80.000 tons in the presence of the Minister of Economic Affairs of Saxony-Anhalt, Dr. Haseloff, and Domo Chemicals' Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr.Jan De Clerck.

GHENT, Belgium, March 5, 2010 - Despite the difficult global market circumstances, DOMO(R) Chemicals has
further strengthened its competitiveness through the successful finalization
of the expansion investments during 2008 and 2009, amounting to 50 million
euro
, in its caprolactam and nylon plant in Leuna.

On top of the 20 million euro of investments in 10 % capacity growth, a
significant part, 30 million euro, has been invested in a new high-tech
storage and handling facility for ammonium sulfate, an important byproduct of
caprolactam.
