DQ Entertainment (”DQE”) and Turner International Announce Exclusive Premiere of Ravan on POGO

HYDERABAD, India - DQE, (AIM: DQE) the AIM-listed animation, gaming and live action media company and Indian kids’ favourite channel, POGO is pleased to announce the exclusive telecast of Ravan, the animation feature created and produced by DQE on POGO on Sunday, August 30 at 12 noon with a repeat broadcast at 6:00 p.m.

This 70 minute animated television feature is based on the story of Dashanan a daitya son with super natural powers who was named as Ravan. A great scholar, he shares a very special and strong relationship with his siblings. The TV special features various escapades of the siblings during their childhood. It is a funny and dramatic display of Ravan and his powers. Ravan’s aggression to defeat his long time rival brother Kuber made him to do intense penance to Lord Brahma for several years and the Creator, pleased with his austerity, granted him and his brothers a boon each, Ravan who returns home then goes to claim the city of Lanka from his step brother Kuber, and becomes the most powerful Daitya king ever.
