easyJet Appoints New Chief Executive - Interview With Carolyn McCall

LONDON, March 24, 2010 - Low-cost airline easyJet today announced the appointment of Carolyn
McCall as CEO. McCall joins from UK newspaper publisher Guardian Media Group.

In a video interview with online business broadcaster
www.cantos.com, McCall said the skills learned at the helm of GMG
would stand her in good stead at the airline.

"The media is about people - it's a people business. It is very
customer-focused, and yet we've had to take a lot of costs out in response to
structural and cyclical change. So I think the skills and capabilities that
I've gained over the last 20 years are immediately transferable to easyJet."
