CorePLUS, a leading provider of an instantly scalable cloud management platform, and Ericom Software, a global leader in application access and virtualization solutions, today announced the integration of CorePLUS’ Cloud Management System and CoreDesk, its on-demand cloud desktop service with Ericom Blaze, AccessNow and AccessToGo technologies. CorePLUS’ solution now leverages the speed, performance, and any device access capabilities of Ericom Software, with the scalability and cost savings of the CoreDesk centralized on-demand desktop service.

CoreDesk combines IT services, traditional business applications and web-based applications alongside Web 2.0 applications, via an easy-to-use centralized webspace and a unique, powerful and productive desktop environment.

CorePLUS provides a turnkey cloud environment and delivers CoreDesk to businesses via a secure private network, organizing the delivery of cloud resources, and the aggregation of applications on demand to any device in a business user-friendly format.

Ericom Blaze accelerates and compresses Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), transforming it into a 10 times faster, responsive and extremely efficient protocol that delivers a superior end-user experience and dramatically reduces bandwidth consumption. Ericom Blaze’s productivity-enhancing functionality enables CoreDesk users to overcome RDP display performance issues, including sluggish response times, slow screen updates and unresponsiveness, especially over low bandwidth, high latency connections.

Ericom AccessNow HTML5 RDP Client enables CoreDesk users to quickly and easily connect to virtual desktops from any device that supports an HTML5 compatible web browser (e.g., iPad / iPhone, Android, Google Chromebook, RIM BlackBerry and Playbook, etc.) in addition of course to Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs. AccessNow does not require Java, Flash, Silverlight, ActiveX or any other underlying technology on the CoreDesk end-user device, simplifying the implementation of remote access to applications and desktops, and significantly reducing IT overhead.

AccessToGo, Ericom’s free mobile RDP client, enables CoreDesk users to access on-demand desktops from mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones (e.g., Android, iOS - iPhone, iPad, etc.).
