Users can discover and share real-time content without cumbersome check in
LONDON, April 30, 2010 - flook announced today that they are working with Reveal to deliver
real-time content for their 10-day event that celebrates King's Cross. flook
will mobilise all of the Reveal events and lets users discover a treasure
trove of creative happenings such as an arts trail leading you from the
iconic railway lands to all the major cultural venues, taking in the bars,
cafes and open spaces in between.
REVEAL is a 10-day event which started April 22 and runs through May 2,
2010 that celebrates King's Cross as a vibrant and creative community.
"Our relationship with flook will help visitors find unique places within
the events. When Reveal attendees are browsing on flook and come across one
of the event cards, hopefully they'll think it's cool enough to be a part
of," said Janice White, Director, The Cogency.
"flook and Reveal give users access to real-time event content," said
Roger Nolan, Co-Founder, flook. "Attendees at Reveal events can also use
flook to find not only new places and businesses within King's Cross but also
discover the traditional charm of King's Cross that they may not have been
aware of."
Nolan added: "Location is such a buzz word at the moment with loads of
apps using these capabilities, but the unique and great thing about flook is
that users don't have to check in to places they go everyday, in fact we
don't ask them to check in at all! It's about discovering new things others
have uploaded, such as the Reveal event, that they might not normally find."
All of the Reveal King's Cross events can be found on flook by visiting
the community page here: www.flook.it/community/Revealkingscross/ or
