By Icis Heren, PRNEMonday, April 5, 2010
LONDON, April 6, 2010 - ICIS Heren, a market-leading publisher of energy market information, is
pleased to announce the launch of a range of new Central and Eastern European
(CEE) power market coverage.
This content will be added to ICIS Heren's European Daily Electricity
Markets report and includes:
- Expanded Czech Republic coverage, including Baseload and Peaks assessments out to three years ahead. - Expanded coverage of OTC trades reported in Hungary and Poland, offering daily price assessments for the Hungarian and Polish prompt and curve, as well as daily Hungarian prompt indices. These will include Baseload assessments out to two years ahead, with European Peaks contracts (hours 8-20) for Hungary and Extended Peaks contracts (hours 7-22) for Poland. - Additional coverage of the rapidly expanding South Eastern European (SEE) markets, with daily Baseload price assessments for Romania out to a year ahead and for Serbia, out to the front month.
Building on detailed knowledge of how wholesale traded markets work in
the region and a strong foundation of existing coverage, these price
assessments allow ICIS Heren to offer daily spreads between Central and South
Eastern European markets and the benchmark German wholesale power market,
including day on day changes in spreads, drawing traders' attention to trends
within the price movements.
Zoe Double, editor of European Daily Electricity Markets, said:
"This adds to the breaking news and detailed analysis that we already
offer, both from and affecting the region. We now have a dedicated team of
reporters working to build on our existing expertise - ICIS Heren was the
first to offer visibility into the CEE power market, and I think our latest
developments will deliver strong insight to our readers."
