LOS ANGELES -
- Hosted Review Platform to be Showcased at ILTA 2009 Conference in Washington, DC
Integreon, the global leader in integrated discovery solutions and legal process outsourcing (LPO), today announced the launch of its eView(TM) 3.0 platform for hosted document review. eView is Integreon’s marquee offering for efficient workflow management and productivity tracking of complex attorney document review.
The new eView release enables legal professionals to better manage the risk of electronic discovery and lower the cost of document review, which is the most expensive stage of e-discovery. New concept search and document clustering use advanced mathematics to allow users to find similar, related, and relevant documents based purely on the concepts discussed within those documents; and the representation of the results in cluster formation allows users to quickly gain an understanding of the various topics the data contains prior to performing a doc-by-doc traditional linear review. Production and privilege log management further ensures that only those documents targeted for production are actually produced.
“eView is a key component of our integrated Doctane(TM) discovery services platform that lets corporations and law firms buy all of the component parts of the discovery process from one single provider,” said Matthew Banks, senior vice president of legal process outsourcing at Integreon. “Our integrated discovery approach has numerous benefits for lawyers-including improved defensibility, unified project management, reduced risk through seamless chain of custody, and predictable and reduced cost that eliminates the ‘blank check book’ concern of working with multiple vendors.”
“Integreon’s release of eView 3.0 demonstrates our continuing commitment to providing a first-rate review platform that combines a full feature set, including a comprehensive array of reporting and tracking metrics, with the flexibility to handle large and very complex review projects,” said Debra Rozier, chief innovation officer, Integreon.
eView 3.0 provides the following new features and benefits: - Concept Search to Speed Review: Advanced clustering technologies allow litigation review managers to quickly understand the types of documents in the collection prior to assigning them for review. This accelerates the review process by excluding non-relevant material altogether (or putting it at the end of the review queue). Users can also highlight a specific document or section of text and, with a single mouse click, immediately identify related documents ranked by relevance. Integreon’s own global attorney review teams have already gained increased efficiency using eView. - Centrally Organize Production Documents: eView improves production management with a central and secure location for organizing production documents. Various different production styles can be managed simultaneously, for example when producing to one or more parties, each with different requirements for one or more productions. Built-in processes prevent the same document from being produced twice and also reduce the risk of producing privilege documents. Detailed reports make it easy to track all productions. - Save Time Managing Privilege Logs: eView offers the ability to quickly group similar privilege log entries by field and see the quantity of each occurrence. When preparing a final privilege log, bulk find and replace actions can be taken to selectively normalize the values of privilege log fields in order to ensure proper formatting of all entries. - Integration with Clearwell for Early Case Assessment: Corporations can use the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform(R) in-house to conduct early case assessment, defensible search, and intelligent culling. Users can then rapidly move potentially responsive documents into eView for hosted review. Imported data maintains all Clearwell tags, folder structures, and notes. Integreon’s support for the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform has been certified through Clearwell’s Gold Partner Program. - Integration with Doctane Discovery Services Platform: Integreon’s consultative approach to the selection, implementation, and management of discovery solutions provides the option to choose eView either a la carte or as an integrated component of our Doctane(TM) discovery services platform. Doctane combines eView with a set of complementary discovery services such as forensics analysis and managed document review. Integreon’s experienced attorney reviewers, for example, are able to use eView from anywhere with high-speed Internet access and can work on-site at client or law firm offices or at any of Integreon’s secure review centers located onshore, offshore, or multi-shore.
“Integreon’s concept search implementation represents an impressive integration of our CAAT conceptual searching and advanced analytics technology within eView’s robust review architecture,” said Kurt Michel, president and CEO, Content Analyst Company, an Integreon technology partner for eView. “Integreon’s eView clients will appreciate the improved efficiency that our automated approach to concept clustering delivers when searching and analyzing data sets during a document review project.”
