Invest in Greece Invites the Investment Community on ‘China Overseas Investment Fair’ and a Greek Mission in Seoul

ATHENS - Invest in Greece, the official Investment Promotion Agency responsible for promoting, attracting and supporting foreign direct investment into Greece, is organizing and participating in investment missions to China and Korea from 2 to 6 November 2009, in cooperation with the Economic and Commercial Offices of the Greek Embassies in Beijing and Seoul.

Invest in Greece will participate in the China Overseas Investment Fair (COIF), being held in Beijing from 2-4 November 2009. COIF is the first professional exhibition dealing with China overseas investment cooperation. The main objective of the Fair is to establish an effective interactive platform for overseas investment cooperation between China and countries throughout the world. At the Fair, Invest in Greece will participate with an exhibition booth (Hall 1, Booth no 1062-1063) and will present Greece’s investment opportunities in the sectors of Renewable Energy and Information Technology on November 3rd at 9:30 am (Hall 9). In addition, one-on-one meetings with government organizations, Chinese enterprises and local Government representatives have been scheduled.

On 5 and 6 November 2009, the mission will travel to Seoul, Korea to participate at the “Greek Economic Framework and Investment Opportunities - Energy and Technology” investment conference, which is co-organized by the Greek Embassy in Seoul and the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). Business meetings with Korean and US investors are also scheduled.
